As I sat in the front row and waited for the Pulse "I Heart Fashion" Show to begin, I was served free champagne, delicious food, waited on by wonderful servers, and jammed to great music mixed by a cool DJ. The food that was served was pretty good, but my favorite selection was the Salmon Teriyaki Skewer. Did I not mention that this was a free private event! Awesome right?!

I had amazing seats as well! I sat on the front row with my mom, and I was able to see the models as they walked out onto the runway. When the show began, the models strutted the runway and were dressed in amazing Spring trends (pictures of some of the outfits are shown below). There was a bit of everything shown from beach wear, to everyday wear, to dressy and casual wear. There was something for both men and women which was great.

The American Heart Association Pulse Committee members were models in the fashion show. They did a great job modeling the clothes. This event was held on the evening of Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Bloomingdale's in Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA and organized by Pulse and the American Heart Association.

The stylist for this event was Image Consultant, Personal Shopper, and Stylist Julia Miles-Davis of Simon Vivian Image Consultant Agency. I thought she did an impeccable job styling this Spring Collection. These were trends I would try and clothes I would wear! Julia Miles-Davis definitely has an eye for fashion.

Once the fashion show was over we were allowed to shop for a cause. Any thing purchased had an additional 20% off and 10% of sale proceeds went to the American Heart Association which was amazing. There were also give aways from make-up company Bobbi Brown, if anyone spent $100-$200 they would get a gift from Bobbi Brown. My mom bought me two outfits, a black dress and a skirt and top which I tried on and loved.

As I shopped with my mother we were both graced with AWESOME customer service. The black dress that my mother ended up buying for me didn't have a price tag on it so this wonderful woman Ms. Tina went above and beyond to make sure I got this dress. She went and sent the Sales Manager, who was amazing as well, Courtney Pollin, to help us find a price tag for the dress.

As Courtney guides us around the store she finds a resonably priced item and charged us that price for the dress. We also received a parking validation from one of the Bloomingdale's sales associates! This was truly a blessing. Once we were done checking out our items, we all exchanged information and left the cash register.

We gave our duplicate receipts to the American Heart Association to get credit for shopping at Bloomingdale's and received a free eye repair cream from Bobbi Brown. My mom and I walked out happy and satisfied. I give this event two thumbs up! Thank you Ms. Tina and Courtney for going above and beyond for us!
