Tea Time At Strathmore...

Hello everyone,
I hope you're having a Happy Holidays. My Holiday Season is going really well, spending it with my family. I am having such an awesome time that I must share with you my first tea experience.

Yesterday, I attended tea at The Mansion at Strathmore in Maryland.

I enjoyed myself.

Growing up I had a toy tea set, but, I've never been to an actual tea event. I must say, very nice.

I attended to this event with my step-mom (Cam), my little step sis (Jo-Gi) and her best friend, my honorary little sis, (Lolo). These three are so fun to be around and great to hang out with.

Before the tea event started we went to the store that is located inside of The Mansion to take a look at what they have.

Next, we walked around The Mansion to see the displays that were up. The theme of the pieces shown were based on time, from watches, to clocks, to even a time machine, basically time on a machine, haha.

Pretty neat displays.

After browsing The Mansion it was about time for us to find our seats and begin tea. Such a beautiful place. The table, (shown below), was decorated very lovely. Flowers seemed to be the inspiration. Tea was first on the table. I added lemon and sugar cubes to mine, very tasty. The hor d'ourves, (pics below), were served next. I swapped the tomato option with my sister for her egg salad because neither one of us wanted those choices. Other than that everything else was delicious.

As we sat and ate, we laughed, talked and had a great time. We took plenty pictures at the tea to capture the experience (some of the pictures taken are shown). Since the experience was new to me I wanted to capture moments. After the sandwich assortment, desert was served. Desert was tasty as well. I thought it was so cute and creative the way they made the Swan Profiterole into an actual swan (photo shown below).  After we finished our food we sat till it was time to go. We didn't want to leave, we were having too much fun and enjoying each other's company. Eventually we left tea and when we did were very happy. I would have to say that my first tea was a success. :)
