Mall of America

Hey Loves,

For Mother's Day weekend I treated my mom and me to the Mall of America!!! We had a really great time. Such a fun and exhausting trip. I mean that in the best way possible. It's just that the mall is so big that you have no choice but to get exhausted especially if you decided to walk the whole mall and shop in the process. We did both, lol. Shopped and walked. It was like a work out weekend.

I came home with an extra stuffed luggage bag. :) When I tell you this mall is huge I am not over exaggerating. This is a really BIG mall. It took my mom and me 3 days to do all 4 levels and we still didn't walk the entire mall.

Crazy & Amazing!!!

You really need walking shoes to walk this mall. What I love most about this trip was the fact that there wasn't taxes on clothes and shoes!!! You know I took advantage of that. I loved not paying taxes, lol. It was lovely. The fact that I could shop tax free made life easier and allowed for me to save more money. You can tell that I was joyful.

To my surprise American Idol winner Scotty McCreery was there our first day doing a book signing. That was really cool. I watched his season of American idol and rooted for him. Glad he won. His career seems to be going well after Idol.  I took some pictures of him as he was interacting with his fans.

Not only did I love that there were no taxes, I also loved the area. Minnesota is so beautiful. It's known for it  10,000 lakes. It's second name is "Land of 10,000 Lakes".   There's so much land and space no wonder Prince stayed in his hometown. When you're in Minnesota you just get this peace and everyone is friendly I mean down to the waiters. My mom and I tipped a lot during this trip. I was just in awe of this place. I will definitely return for another trip.

This mall is so big and is continuing to grow. It has four levels, an amusement park; Nickelodeon Universe, a couple of coffee shops, a movie theater, a Marshall's, Nordstrom, Macy's and a Sears, an Aquarium, about three food courts (one is full of restaurants), and they just opened a Crayola Museum. Both my mother and I love Minnesota and enjoyed our time there. She told me that this was one of the best Mother's Day Gifts Ever! Mission Accomplished. I felt so proud and glad that my mom enjoyed herself. I thank God that I was able to provide her with such an amazing trip. I love my mom and I want to spoil her as much as she's spoiled me and more.

Until Next Time,
